Abstract Working at the prime 2 and chromatic height 2, we construct a finite resolution of the homotopy fixed points of MoravaE-theory with respect to the subgroup$$\mathbb {G}_2^1$$ of the Morava stabilizer group. This is an upgrade of the finite resolution of the homotopy fixed points ofE-theory with respect to the subgroup$$\mathbb {S}_2^1$$ constructed in work of Goerss–Henn–Mahowald–Rezk, Beaudry and Bobkova–Goerss.

Abstract We determine the structure of the Parisi measure at zero temperature for the spherical$$p+s$$ spin glass model. We show that depending on the values ofpands, four scenarios may emerge, including the existence of 1-FRSB and 2-FRSB phases as predicted by Crisanti and Leuzzi (Private communication, 2022, Phys Rev B 73:014412, 2006). We also provide consequences for the model at low temperatures.more » « less

Abstract We study higher-order QCD corrections beyond NLO for the associated production of a photon with aWboson ($$\gamma W^+$$ and$$\gamma W^-$$ production) at the Large Hadron Collider. We calculate the NNLO soft-plus-virtual QCD corrections as well as the$$\hbox {N}^3$$ LO soft-gluon corrections to the total production cross section and the photon transverse-momentum distribution in single-particle-inclusive kinematics. The higher-order corrections provide a significant enhancement to the cross section. This is the first calculation of the complete soft-gluon corrections at$$\hbox {N}^3$$ LO in single-particle-inclusive kinematics for a Standard Model process.more » « less
