We report the results of the first search for decays to the final state using of data collected at the resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy collider. The results are interpreted in terms of both direct baryon-number-violating decay and oscillations which follow the standard model decay . We observe no evidence for baryon number violation and set the 95% confidence-level upper limits on the ratio of baryon-number-violating and standard model branching fractions to be and on the effective angular frequency of mixing in oscillations to be (equivalent to ). First measurements of the branching fractions for the decay modes Ξc0→Λη and Ξc0→Λη′ and search for the decay Ξc0→Λπ0 using Belle and Belle II data
Using data samples of and collected with the Belle and Belle II detectors, we present a study of the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decays , , and . We observe the decay and find evidence for the decay , with corresponding branching ratios determined to be and , respectively. We find no significant signal in the decay mode and set an upper limit at the 90% credibility level of . Multiplying these ratios by the world-average branching fraction of the normalization channel, , we obtain the absolute branching fractions of , , and an upper limit at the 90% credibility level on the absolute branching fraction of . The quoted first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively, while the third uncertainties arise from the branching fraction of the normalization mode. These results are consistent with most theoretical predictions and further the understanding of the underlying decay mechanisms.

The decay is studied at LHCb for the first time using proton-proton collision data recorded by the LHCb experiment at a center-of-mass energy of , corresponding to an integrated luminosity of . The branching ratio relative to the decay is measured to be [ where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. Evidence is found for contributions from two resonant states, and , in the system. The two states show a significance of relative to the nonresonant hypothesis. These two states are consistent with being the isospin partners of the states observed in the system.more » « less

A study of and decays to ( ) is performed using collision data collected by the LHCb experiment during LHC Runs 1–2, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of . The branching fractions for these decays are measured using the decay as a control channel. The decays and are observed for the first time. For decay modes with sufficient signal yields, asymmetries are measured in the full and localized regions of the final-state phase space. Evidence is found for violation in the decay, interpreted as originating primarily from an asymmetric decay amplitude. The measured asymmetries for other decays are compatible with zero. © 2025 CERN, for the LHCb Collaboration2025CERNmore » « less

The first observation of the decay and measurement of the branching ratio of to are presented. The and mesons are reconstructed using their dimuon decay modes. The results are based on proton-proton colliding beam data from the LHC collected by the CMS experiment at in 2016–2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of . The branching fraction ratio is measured to be , where the last uncertainty comes from the uncertainties in the branching fractions of the charmonium states. New measurements of the baryon mass and natural width are also presented, using the final state, where the baryon is reconstructed through the decays , , , and . Finally, the fraction of baryons produced from decays is determined. © 2024 CERN, for the CMS Collaboration2024CERNmore » « less
