Despite recent advances in taxonomy and phylogeny, there is a still lack of molecular studies on the delimitation and identification of the genus.Dendrophorbiumis known to occupy a wide range of ecosystems mostly restricted to subtropical montane forests and montane scrub vegetation of the central Andes. In this study, a review of the species occurring in Peru is presented, in addition to material examined at different herbaria. The new combinationD. ligulatumwhich is separated fromD. yalusay, and the new species,D. arachnoideumis described from the department of Huánuco in central Peru. The species are assessed using the standards of the IUCN and additional notes are given.</p></dc:description><dc:publisher>Nordic Journal of Botany</dc:publisher>
<dc:nsf_par_id>10631636</dc:nsf_par_id><dc:journal_name>Nordic Journal of Botany</dc:journal_name><dc:journal_volume>2024</dc:journal_volume><dc:journal_issue>11</dc:journal_issue><dc:page_range_or_elocation/><dc:issn>0107-055X</dc:issn><dc:isbn/><dc:doi>https://doi.org/10.1111/njb.04385</dc:doi><dcq:identifierAwardId>2019425</dcq:identifierAwardId><dc:subject/><dc:version_number/><dc:location/><dc:rights/><dc:institution/><dc:sponsoring_org>National Science Foundation</dc:sponsoring_org></record></records></rdf:RDF>
