( , Conference on Laser and Electro-Optics)We theoretically and experimentally demonstrate that the processes of multimode soliton fission and dispersive wave generation in parabolic-index multimode fibers, are substantially altered when the rate of intermodal nonlinear interactions is progressively increased during propagation.
