  1. Abstract

    We compare the (horizontal) trace of the affine Hecke category with the elliptic Hall algebra, thus obtaining an “affine” version of the construction of Gorsky et al. (Int. Math. Res. Not. IMRN2022(2022) 11304–11400). Explicitly, we show that the aforementioned trace is generated by the objects as , where denote the Wakimoto objects of Elias and denote Rouquier complexes. We compute certain categorical commutators between the 's and show that they match the categorical commutators between the sheaves on the flag commuting stack that were considered in Neguț (Publ. Math. Inst. Hautes Études Sci. 135 (2022) 337–418). At the level of ‐theory, these commutators yield a certain integral form of the elliptic Hall algebra, which we can thus map to the ‐theory of the trace of the affine Hecke category.

  2. Abstract

    These notes cover the lectures of the first named author at 2021 IHES Summer School on “Enumerative Geometry, Physics and Representation Theory” with additional details and references. They cover the definition of Khovanov‐Rozansky triply graded homology, its basic properties and recent advances, as well as three algebro‐geometric models for link homology: braid varieties, Hilbert schemes of singular curves and affine Springer fibers, and Hilbert schemes of points on the plane.

  3. Abstract We describe the universal target of annular Khovanov–Rozansky link homology functors as the homotopy category of a free symmetric monoidal linear category generated by one object and one endomorphism. This categorifies the ring of symmetric functions and admits categorical analogues of plethystic transformations, which we use to characterize the annular invariants of Coxeter braids. Further, we prove the existence of symmetric group actions on the Khovanov–Rozansky invariants of cabled tangles and we introduce spectral sequences that aid in computing the homologies of generalized Hopf links. Finally, we conjecture a characterization of the horizontal traces of Rouquier complexes of Coxeter braids in other types.

  4. In this paper, we provide a simple proof of the Holonomy theorem using a new Lyndon–Chiswell length function on the Karnofsky–Rhodes expansion of a semigroup. Unexpectedly, we have both a left and a right action on the Chiswell tree by elliptic maps.

  5. We define two symmetric $q,t$-Catalan polynomials in terms of the area and depth statistic and in terms of the dinv and dinv of depth statistics. We prove symmetry using an involution on plane trees. The same involution proves symmetry of the Tutte polynomials. We also provide a combinatorial proof of a remark by Garsia et al. regarding parking functions and the number of connected graphs on a fixed number of vertices.

Abstract Whereas set-valued tableaux are the combinatorial objects associated to stable Grothendieck polynomials, hook-valued tableaux are associated with stable canonical Grothendieck polynomials. In this paper, we define a novel uncrowding algorithm for hook-valued tableaux. The algorithm “uncrowds” the entries in the arm of the hooks, and yields a set-valued tableau and a column-flagged increasing tableau. We prove that our uncrowding algorithm intertwines with crystal operators. An alternative uncrowding algorithm that “uncrowds” the entries in the leg instead of the arm of the hooks is also given. As an application of uncrowding, we obtain various expansions of the canonical Grothendieck polynomials.

  7. Abstract We establish some new relationships between Milnor invariants and Heegaard Floer homology. This includes a formula for the Milnor triple linking number from the link Floer complex, detection results for the Whitehead link and Borromean rings, and a structural property of the $d$-invariants of surgeries on certain algebraically split links.
