$$\omega \rightarrow 3\pi$$ and $$\omega \pi ^{0}$$ transition form factor revisited
Abstract In light of recent experimental results, we revisit the dispersive analysis of the $$\omega \rightarrow 3\pi$$ ω → 3 π decay amplitude and of the $$\omega \pi ^0$$ ω π 0 transition form factor. Within the framework of the Khuri–Treiman equations, we show that the $$\omega \rightarrow 3\pi$$ ω → 3 π Dalitz-plot parameters obtained with a once-subtracted amplitude are in agreement with the latest experimental determination by BESIII. Furthermore, we show that at low energies the $$\omega \pi ^0$$ ω π 0 transition form factor obtained from our determination of the $$\omega \rightarrow 3\pi$$ ω → 3 π amplitude is consistent with the data from MAMI and NA60 experiments.

1. Abstract The invariant differential cross section of inclusive $$\omega (782)$$ ω ( 782 ) meson production at midrapidity ( $$|y|<0.5$$ | y | < 0.5 ) in pp collisions at $$\sqrt{s}=7\,\hbox {TeV}$$ s = 7 TeV was measured with the ALICE detector at the LHC over a transverse momentum range of $$2< p_{\mathrm {T}}< 17\,\hbox {GeV}/c$$ 2 < p T < 17 GeV / c . The $$\omega$$ ω meson was reconstructed via its $$\omega \rightarrow \pi ^+\pi ^-\pi ^0$$ ω → π + π - π 0 decay channel. The measured $$\omega$$ ω production cross section is compared to various calculations: PYTHIA 8.2  Monash 2013 describes the data, while PYTHIA 8.2 Tune 4C overestimates the data by about 50%. A recent NLO calculation, which includes a model describing the fragmentation of the whole vector-meson nonet, describes the data within uncertainties below $$6\,\hbox {GeV}/c$$ 6 GeV / c , while it overestimates the data by up to 50% for higher $$p_{\mathrm {T}}$$ p T . The $$\omega /\pi ^0$$ ω / π 0 ratio is in agreement with previous measurements at lower collision energies and the PYTHIA calculations. In addition, the measurement is compatible with transverse mass scaling within the measured $$p_{\mathrm {T}}$$more »
2. Abstract. This work measured $\mathrm{d}\sigma/\mathrm{d}\Omega$ d σ / d Ω for neutral kaon photoproduction reactions from threshold up to a c.m. energy of 1855MeV, focussing specifically on the $\gamma p\rightarrow K^0\Sigma^+$ γ p → K 0 Σ + , $\gamma n\rightarrow K^0\Lambda$ γ n → K 0 Λ , and $\gamma n\rightarrow K^0 \Sigma^0$ γ n → K 0 Σ 0 reactions. Our results for $\gamma n\rightarrow K^0 \Sigma^0$ γ n → K 0 Σ 0 are the first-ever measurements for that reaction. These data will provide insight into the properties of $N^{\ast}$ N * resonances and, in particular, will lead to an improved knowledge about those states that couple only weakly to the $\pi N$ π N channel. Integrated cross sections were extracted by fitting the differential cross sections for each reaction as a series of Legendre polynomials and our results are compared with prior experimental results and theoretical predictions.
We evaluate the$$a_1(1260) \rightarrow \pi \sigma (f_0(500))$$${a}_{1}\left(1260\right)\to \pi \sigma \left({f}_{0}\left(500\right)\right)$decay width from the perspective that the$$a_1(1260)$$${a}_{1}\left(1260\right)$resonance is dynamically generated from the pseudoscalar–vector interaction and the$$\sigma$$$\sigma$arises from the pseudoscalar–pseudoscalar interaction. A triangle mechanism with$$a_1(1260) \rightarrow \rho \pi$$${a}_{1}\left(1260\right)\to \rho \pi$followed by$$\rho \rightarrow \pi \pi$$$\rho \to \pi \pi$and a fusion of two pions within the loop to produce the$$\sigma$$$\sigma$provides the mechanism for this decay under these assumptions for the nature of the two resonances. We obtain widths of the order of 13–22 MeV. Present experimental results differ substantially from each other, suggesting that extra efforts should be devoted to the precise extraction of this important partial decay width, which should provide valuable information on the nature of the axial vector and scalar meson resonances and help clarify the role of the$$\pi \sigma$$$\pi \sigma$channel in recent lattice QCD calculations of the$$a_1$$${a}_{1}$.
Let$$X\rightarrow {{\mathbb {P}}}^1$$$X\to {P}^{1}$be an elliptically fiberedK3 surface, admitting a sequence$$\omega _{i}$$${\omega }_{i}$of Ricci-flat metrics collapsing the fibers. LetVbe a holomorphicSU(n) bundle overX, stable with respect to$$\omega _i$$${\omega }_{i}$. Given the corresponding sequence$$\Xi _i$$${\Xi }_{i}$of Hermitian–Yang–Mills connections onV, we prove that, ifEis a generic fiber, the restricted sequence$$\Xi _i|_{E}$$${\Xi }_{i}{|}_{E}$converges to a flat connection$$A_0$$${A}_{0}$. Furthermore, if the restriction$$V|_E$$${V|}_{E}$is of the form$$\oplus _{j=1}^n{\mathcal {O}}_E(q_j-0)$$${\oplus }_{j=1}^{n}{O}_{E}\left({q}_{j}-0\right)$forndistinct points$$q_j\in E$$${q}_{j}\in E$, then these points uniquely determine$$A_0$$${A}_{0}$.
5. Abstract The production of $$\pi ^{\pm }$$ π ± , $$\mathrm{K}^{\pm }$$ K ± , $$\mathrm{K}^{0}_{S}$$ K S 0 , $$\mathrm{K}^{*}(892)^{0}$$ K ∗ ( 892 ) 0 , $$\mathrm{p}$$ p , $$\phi (1020)$$ ϕ ( 1020 ) , $$\Lambda$$ Λ , $$\Xi ^{-}$$ Ξ - , $$\Omega ^{-}$$ Ω - , and their antiparticles was measured in inelastic proton–proton (pp) collisions at a center-of-mass energy of $$\sqrt{s}$$ s = 13 TeV at midrapidity ( $$|y|<0.5$$ | y | < 0.5 ) as a function of transverse momentum ( $$p_{\mathrm{T}}$$ p T ) using the ALICE detector at the CERN LHC. Furthermore, the single-particle $$p_{\mathrm{T}}$$ p T distributions of $$\mathrm{K}^{0}_{S}$$ K S 0 , $$\Lambda$$ Λ , and $$\overline{\Lambda }$$ Λ ¯ in inelastic pp collisions at $$\sqrt{s} = 7$$ s = 7  TeV are reported here for the first time. The $$p_{\mathrm{T}}$$ p T distributions are studied at midrapidity within the transverse momentum range $$0\le p_{\mathrm{T}}\le 20$$ 0 ≤ p T ≤ 20 GeV/ c , depending on the particle species. The $$p_{\mathrm{T}}$$ p T spectra, integrated yields, and particle yield ratios are discussed as a function of collision energy and compared with measurements at lower $$\sqrt{s}$$ smore »
